Doesnt a website that charges people for a space within have enough resources and security to hold these down and keep them to the minimum??
Every two weeks or so I get these notes written in Big cap "LETTERS!! OMG!!" warning about a hacker that dactivates account or gets you banned etc.
But sick people do get bored and do stuff like this, so when you get these notes so oftenly when do you know its real? and most importantly ... when do you know what to do?
PS: Im not complaining on the warning, I appreciate it BUT I just dont understand..
The stuff about "your account will get taken over if someone starts watching you" is useless, you can't help if someone watches you or not. I suspect it started as a joke played on someone who isn't up on the tech and it took on a life of its own.
Also just today I saw this journal [link] but I have no idea if it would be related at all.
"Aguas, cuando recibas notes de un desconocido no las abras porque es un hacker que te puede borrar" ...o algo así.
El caso es que para ser broma, cada vez resulta menos graciosa... por otra parte, pedirle a deviantART que tenga control sobre algo así al parecer es pedirles demasiado...
